Clean Up at Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter
Catholic Charities Gets a Fresh Coat of Paint
On June 27, OS came together for its annual Day of Service. From senior partners to summer associates, everyone rolled up their sleeves and dedicated their day to positively impacting the community.
One group headed to the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter, where our volunteers cleaned the kennels and helped with the shelter's upkeep. Their efforts helped to improve the animals' living conditions and increased their chances of finding forever homes.
Another group headed to New Jersey Reentry Corporation, where they separated and packaged more than 20,000 pounds of food for people in need. Another team worked at Catholic Charities Family and Adoption Services, painting and assembling a toy kitchen, creating a more beautiful and inviting environment for the youngest members of our community.
Another impactful effort was seen at Table of Hope in Morristown, where our volunteers joined in for its weekly food distribution. This site is vital for many local families, providing essential groceries. Our team members worked alongside regular volunteers packing and distributing food, witnessing firsthand the importance of community support.
OS's Annual Day of Service is more than just a single day of volunteering. It's a reflection of our firm's values and commitment to giving back. By stepping out of our offices and into the community, we not only contribute to meaningful causes, but also gain invaluable perspectives that enrich our professional and personal lives.
