Ms. Kearns focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, white collar criminal defense litigation, and professional liability.
Ms. Kearns received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, with a Special Concentration in Human Rights, from Columbia University. While in college, she was a Division I athlete, rowing for the Crew team. She was also a research assistant for 24 Hours for Darfur, a non-profit organization sponsored by the United States Department of State to make recommendations to the United Nations Security Council and other international policymakers.
Ms. Kearns received her Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, she was a research fellow for the Center for Policy and Research on several high-profile projects, including publishing a report detailing racial profiling and traffic enforcement practices in Bloomfield, New Jersey and traveling to Guantánamo Bay, Cuba to observe and report on the military commission hearings.
Before joining O’Toole Scrivo, Ms. Kearns served as law clerk to the Honorable Donald A. Kessler (Retired) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity Part, in the Essex Vicinage.
